1 Thes. 5:18 What is thanksgiving? It is d offering of appreciation to God for His goodness. To appreciate means to recognise d good quality/qualities of somebody & be grateful to him. D quality u attach to God will reflect in d appreciation u offer to Him.

Our appreciation to God must be sacrificial. 2sam24:24, 1kgs3:3,4. What do we offer to God? 1. Our lips: with all our hearts. Heb13:15. 2. Our substance: with all our hearts. Gen4:4; 8:20, 1kgs3:4. 3. Our bodies: with all our hearts. This can be achieved when we dance to God. Gen15:20, 2Sam6:14-16. *

Purpose Of Thanksgiving: (1). It is d will of God for us in Christ Jesus. 1Thes5:18. (2). Renders whatever we receive good & sanctified. 1Tim4:3-5. Vs 4 says: For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving. (3). Increases or multiply every little received. Matth15:32-37, 2Cor9:10-13.

When Jesus took d 7 loaves & a few fishes and gave d Father tanks, he handed it over to him to make it sufficient. Thanksgiving make every insufficient to become sufficient. Nothing we receive from men is ever sufficient untill we hand it over to God with thanksgiving. Ur salary, and every means of income become sufficient as u thank God 4 them. That thing u start, that may be small today, will multiply tomorrow through thanksgiving to God. *

D message translation of d bible says in verse 19, ...'your faith has healed and saved you'. D man not only got his miracle by d action of thanksgiving, but also secured his miracle. Whatever u tank God 4 u cannot lose. Its secured. D rest 9 could lose thier miracle, but d 1 who returned to give tanks cant. *

What u tank God 4 not only multiplies, but is saved and secured. Thanksgiving also renders whatever u recieve good. See 1 Tim 4:3-5 and 1 cor 10:25-30. LEARN TO GIVE TANKS AND CHANGE UR WORLD. *
