In Rom. 8:26,27, Paul wrote: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. *

From d above verses we understand (1). That we have weaknesses or inadequacies in prayer.

(2). We dont even know how we should better direct our prayers.

(3). We dont know sometimes what to pray for.

(4). It is d Holy Spirit who can help up solve d above problems.

(5). The Holy Spirit is all knowing (Omniscience). He searches all hearts & knows d problems of every one we want to pray 4. He is d only One who adequately knows d mind of God.

He is d only one who can present every situation to God according to God's will 4 d individual.

(6). He also helps us to pray with groaning which cannot be uttered i.e. with articulate human language. From all of the above points,

It is true therefore, that if we dont rely on d help of d Holy Spirit in praying, we will not get d very desired result.

1 . When u want to pray, acknowledge his presence & help: rely on his Power & strength. Seek his direction to pray. Be sensitive to his leading.

2 . Pray in d Spirit with ur spirit: 1cor.14:14-15. For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also:

For if I pray in an [unknown] tongue, my spirit [by the Holy Spirit within me] prays, but my mind is unproductive [it bears no fruit and helps nobody].

(a) We understand from d above scriptures that we can pray with our human spirit by d Holy Spirit dwelling in us & we can pray by our mind or intellect. We can also sing by d two means, but d spirit comes 1st. One is more important than d other.

(b). We understand that when we pray with our spirit, it is called praying in an unknown tongue. Our mind or intellect [from where we pray in d language we understand] does not bear fruit or contribute to d praying.

When we pray in an unknown tongue, it is the Holy Spirit who supply d language we utter through our mouth & we dont understand it. So we pray in unknown tongue & in a lang we understand.

(3). D Holy Spirit is a helper: Jon. 14:16. Jesus said ...I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter... In many translations this scriptures, reads, I will send you another helper

In Rom.8:26. It says Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities... It is not d Holy Spirit who does d praying. We do & he helps us. D Holy Spirit is a helper to us in all we do in d kingdom.

Mark 16:17. Jesus says And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my Name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues .

One of d signs that follow believers is speaking/praying with new tongues. Therefore, praying with d help of D Holy Spirit is praying mostly in tongues. It's our victory in prayers. In d concluding part, we shall consider D Benefits.
