(1) We get better result praying in d spirit than praying in understanding: we are spiritual beings, spiritual application should be d first priority.

(2). Sometimes we dont know how we should present d case to God better in d language we understand. So we pray in tongues. Rom 8:26-27.

(6). Prayin in tongues is 4 self edification or building up. 1 Cor. 14:4, Jude:20.

9). Prayin in tongues is 4 rest & refreshing to our souls & bodies. Isa 28:11-12, Heb. 3:7; 4:1-3. Rom. 8:11. Con: Dont forbid to pray in understanding, but pray always in tongues. *
