Every believer can have the gift of prophecy. 1 cor 14:1,5,24, and can prophecy. Not all believers are called into the ministry of a Prophet. Eph 4:11. The gift of prophecy is simple gift for edification, exhortation and comfort of the church. All believers can have this. The ministry of a prophet is a call into the five-fold ministry: Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. *
